On the Website In the App Hosting an Event
Opening Your Invite

You were sent a link. Click it and you land on the event.

That is normal. The link knows which event and which invite it is, but it does not sign you in until you say it can.

Sign in with the email address the invite was sent to. If you have never used EventMe before, an account is made for you and any invites waiting on that address are attached to it.

Once you are looking at the event, we ask whether the next invite should open straight to it. Say yes and you skip signing in from then on. Only do that if your email is private to you, because anyone you forward an invite to would land in your account. You can change your mind any time under Preferences.

Enter your email and we send you a code. There is no password to remember. You can also use Sign in with Apple or Google, or a passkey if your device offers one.

On the event, open Your RSVP and choose Going, Not Going or Maybe. You can change your answer whenever you like, and the host sees the change.

Depending on how the host set the event up, the same screen may also ask what you are bringing, how many people are coming with you, and their names.

Attendees, Guests, and Invited shows the guest list, when the host has chosen to share it.

Photo Gallery appears on events where the host turned photos on.

Some events have a discussion where guests and the host can leave messages.

If you do not see one of these, the host has it switched off for that event.

Addresses are only shown to people who are signed in. Sign in with the email your invite went to and it will appear, if the host added one.

Every invite has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can stop emails about one of the host's lists, or stop hearing from that host altogether.

It takes effect immediately, and the host cannot simply add you back. If you change your mind, use the link again to resubscribe, or tell the host and they can re-add you.
